In addition to plant and produce production, Jordan offers some other services as part of Middle Way Farm. Please contact us if you are interested in the current schedule and attending a scheduled class/event, hiring Jordan to do one of these services, pricing, etc. I offer sliding scale pricing depending on the requestor.  

Apple Cider Pressing and Demonstrations (Sep. - Oct.)

• Scheduled to cider pressing demo and tasting as well as press apples provided by patrons upon request at Grinnell Farmers Market in early October 2025 (after a successful demo in 2024)

• Have also provided cider pressing at Grinnell College staff event in fall 2024

Wild Edible Plant Walks or Workshops (growing season)

• View Jordan's free beginning wild edible plant guide published in 2011 by the Center for Prairie Studies, Grinnell College

• Read a Rootstalk article from spring 2024 featuring Jordan and his approach to foraging.

• Jordan will teach about wild edibles at Grinnell Organizing Collective Skill Share night on July 1, 7-8:30 pm at Grinnell UCC. Other skill share nights dates TBD.

​Teaching Meditation

• Jordan currently teaches beginning meditation and hosts a group meditation with occasional discussion at Grinnell College's Center for Religion, Spirituality, and Social Justice (CRSSJ).

• Group meditation is on Mondays at 8 pm during the semester (late Aug - mid. Dec, late Jan. - mid May).  Beginning meditation classes take place on a different weekday evening for 4 weeks at 8 pm in September - October, and January - February. 

• Classes & group are aimed at students, staff, and faculty but general public is welcome to attend.
