UPDATE 2/6/23: We have filled our full-time and part-time farm crew positions for spring and summer, as well as our paid summer internship. Part-Time Farm Crew. $12/hr. March 1 - Dec. 15  

 

Full-time Paid Summer Internship for College Students. June - August. $10/hr. Applications open till Feb. 3.

We work Monday - Fridays, 8 am - 5 pm (Mar. - Apr. & Oct. - Dec.) OR 7 am - 5 pm (May - Sep.).

We typically do not work on weekends although sporadic weekend hours may be available for those interested. 

Lunch is unpaid from noon - 1 pm.

We also typically take a 15 - 30 minute paid mid-morning break during the summer months.  

 

We offer a fun, supportive, and thoughtful work environment on an established organic vegetable farm just north of Grinnell, Iowa. We are looking for applicants who are serious about food, farming, and being outside and can contribute to the farm's success by being diligent, focused, and efficient workers. All applicants must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, work in all weather conditions and temperatures, and communicate well with the farmer and their co-workers. We have opportunities for people experienced with power tools and farm equipment, or are willing and able to learn. We are particularly interested in people considering farming as a career and are willing to work multiple seasons.
