Squash, Butternut (Flint Ridge Organic Produce)
Certified organic from Flint Ridge Organic Produce in Kalona. One medium size squash of 2-3 lb. total. Excellent keeper. To prepare, cut off stem ends, cut in half, scoop out seeds (save to toast!), roast cut side down on lightly greased baking sheet at 425 degrees for 30 minutes or until easily pierced with a fork. Scoop cooked squash out of skin.
